Summary:
 
We are searching for an energetic and motivated sales professional to play an intricate role in managing and growing revenue within our existing customer base.

The Strategic Account Manager will be part of  the Appatura Sales team with close ties to the Client Services and Development teams to ensure service
levels and solutions are in alignment with our customer’s requirements and business needs.

As a  trusted advisor, the Strategic Account Manager will also be responsible to identify new revenue generating opportunities (this is a quota carrying position).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years direct Account Management and SaaS and/or PaaS experience (preferably in the banking
and/or finance sector).

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Sales across a diverse account base uncovering new business opportunities
  • Develop engagement plans for Appatura customers that outline their critical success factors, metrics for success, potential issues and provide recommendations 
  • Project Scope/Proposal writing, presentation and negotiation
  • Develop a network of advocates within each Appatura customer account through education, coaching, networking and strong influencing skills
  • Act as liaison between product management, support and the customer when appropriate
  • Prepare, engage and drive product demos for new and existing clients
  • Ensure a seamless experience for the customer during the on-boarding process
  • Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to assist in building brand awareness and customer references
  • Comfortable with travel (up to 40% at times)
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Extensive direct client/account management experience in enterprise software, business consulting and/or related field
  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience in High Tech/Enterprise Software for Marketing/Finance industry
  • High degree of organization, efficiency, urgency and follow through on program planning and execution 
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business relationships and expand the platform footprint within the customer base
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines and make adjustments to meet business needs 
  • Outstanding presentation development and delivery skills, with ability to inform, influence and impact all levels of management
