Associate Creative Director, Experience Design

 

Description

At Havas New York, user experience and experience strategy are integral to the creative process and play pivotal roles in the conception and design of groundbreaking multi-context platforms.

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director, Experience Design who have experience connecting customers and brands through intuitive interfaces and transformative brand experiences. Preference will be given to people who demonstrate a combination of strategic, conceptual and design expertise.

Responsibilities for Experience Design Associate Creative Directors include:

  • Assist the Executive Director, Customer Experience with leading multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of best-in-class user experience with in the consumer healthcare category
  • Use qualitative and quantitative user research, coupled with design and co-creation skills, to understand the needs of our healthcare clients
  • Help define business opportunities and translate insights into consumer-facing experiences
  • Deliverables will include UX sketches and concepts, wireframes, sitemaps technical specifications, business requirement documents
  • Shaping UX strategy and vision throughout the product ecosystem
  • Enable the creation of concept models, user interface sketches, and schematics
  • Conduct research and lead user testing and user/client interviews to insights and optimize the user experience for our DTC clients
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentor-ship to other Experience Designers


Qualifications include:

  • Several examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
  • At least 6+ years’ experience in a lead Experience Design role
  • A solid understanding and demonstration of user centered design principles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the design of large + complex systems of interactions
  • A good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies
  • Able to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems
  • Able to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • In possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, analytical and leadership skills
  • Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Can work with grace under pressure
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in at least one of the following domains; product and systems design, commerce, mobile, branding, retail, and social media a huge plus
