Specialist Analytics


The Specialist Analytics supports client account teams to define new measures, metrics and processes to enable tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis across all channels. This includes traditional media (off line), new media (on line), search, mobile, and social. Specialists are involved in day-to-day execution and optimization of many client accounts. Specialists are exposed to a range of clients, projects and responsibilities. You will be working with a team of talented individuals in Analytics, Media, Strategy and Creative to help drive results for our clients.



  • Work alongside the digital media team to design measurement plans that align with client goals and objectives, and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Design and perform analysis, interpreting results and synthesizing recommendations.
  • Work closely with the media teams to assess the campaigns technical measurement and data requirements (e.g. site tagging, Web analytics coding).
  • Deliver reports to gauge effectiveness of digital media advertising programs including: search engine marketing, display, mobile, social, video, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze advertising campaign performance and provide strategic insights and optimization recommendations.
  • Analyze site behavior using Web analytics tools to determine areas of site improvement.
  • Provide input into test and learn programs and opportunities.
  • Conducting primary and secondary research on best practices and market trends.



  • 1-3 years of online media and campaign measurement experience or business experience working in an account services industry such as Management Consulting, Marketing, Advertising, Interactive Consulting, or finance.
  • Undergraduate degree; relevant courses or field of study preferred (e.g., Marketing, Business, Finance, Statistics or Economics).
  • Customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and, decision-making skills.

  • Strong quantitative and research skills with proven ability to demonstrate data collecting, analyzing and interpretation capabilities.
  • Strong ability to judge and quantify results of advertising/ promotional efforts placed on behalf our clients (i.e., understand true value of ROI, understand/describe impact of results, compare actual results to needs of client/ product) and know what to do with this information (i.e., how to optimize placements, which promotions to recommend, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, experience with Web site analytics tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of online advertising planning, buying and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with ad serving and rich media tools, e.g., DoubleClick DFA and Atlas.
  • Ethics and values consistent with Havas Media’s high standards.
