Havas is looking for an entrepreneurial Freelance Senior Recruiter to join our team and lead recruiting for Media roles at our office in River North.

We seek people that don't just fit a job description but bring positive energy, off-angle ways to solving age-old advertising problems, are social-first and want to be in a 'best place to work' because they strive to make it better. Our agency gets out of bed in the morning to cause 'meaningful disruption' in an industry that is need of serious transformation. We are not looking for the same, boring solutions that are chock-full of brand and marketing rhetoric but seek people that want to change the advertising game. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Source, network, and screen outbound and inbound candidates
  • Source candidates through various methods, focusing on passive candidates
  • Screen candidate on their skills, experience, motivators and assess culture fit
  • Use behavioral interviewing to find the best talent for our fast growing environment 
  • Work with hiring managers to understand the needs and wants of each position, craft job postings and effectively communicate best practices throughout the hiring process
  • Build a pipeline of talent for future hiring needs
  • Partnering with the Talent team to ensure new hires have a great onboarding experience

 Knowledge/Experience

  • 3+ years advertising, recruiting experience required, media experience required
  • Ability to consistently identify and engage talented candidates across all disciplines within in media agency
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and interact with all levels of leadership and team members
  • The ability to bring a pre-existing network of contacts to the table
