Summary
The Manager of Analytics is a lead data strategist in a creative world – the intersection of poets and quants.  Responsible as much for data-inspired thought leadership and education as developing measurement approaches across a number of major clients. 

Role and Responsibilities
The Manager is the day-to-day leader of analytics for each account.  He/she must also work collaboratively with Planning, UX, Tech, Social and Account teams.  The team works across all aspects of analytics with a heavy emphasis on digital, pulling from both structured/unstructured, online/offline, quant/qualitative data sources to tell a compelling story.  They are responsible for setting measurement strategy and working with clients to develop insights on engagement, optimization and return.  Within the creative agency there is also a great deal of up-front research and forecasting for new business pitches.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of business experience with a majority of experience in a client-facing analytics / consultant role with at least 2 years managing others.
  • Bachelors in engineering, math, statistics, economics or other quant focused studies.
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Thorough understanding of online marketing and the associated metrics in media, web & social. Specifically experience using DCM, Google Analytics, Adobe Sitecatalyst and Target
  • Proven ability to extract insights from research tools such as Simmons or MRI
  • Experience developing testing strategies and interpreting results.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Relevant experience working in R, SAS, or SPSS.
