International Account Executive Assistant

The International Account Executive Assistant will work on one of our most prestigious accounts. S/He will be managing key pieces of business, providing a superior service to our clients and delivering innovative solutions wherever possible.  The role implies to apply knowledge of media and communications platforms to identify the most appropriate mediums to overcome the challenges the clients are facing. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of key clients and projects, providing first class service to our clients as well as delivering quality and innovative solutions.
  • Supports the account director and business director with the day-to-day planning of the account, from brief through to implementation stage.
  • Developing ideas and pinpointing business problems and commissioning external qualitative and quantitative research as required.
  • Performing presentations to clients and agency staff with enthusiasm and zeal.
  • Coordination and the execution of the media plan with our internal specialist teams - and with the media owners as required.
  • Driving integrated process and thinking across client teams, strategy and product areas
  • Evidence of placing the client’s needs at the heart of all delivery and building strong, meaningful relationships with client peers.
  • Ensuring you are up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes
  • Providing timely and accurate billing projections as requested
  • Assisting in the development of and participation in promoting our company offering and group services.
  • Supports additional projects as required – such as new business pitches, market reviews and competitive trends. 

 

  • People Management
  • Leads by example, taking a positive attitude at all times, embracing opportunities, resolving issues collaboratively and swiftly, and making sure that the account directors are kept abreast of any issues/concerns.
  • Ensures that appraisal process is followed for direct reports
  • Takes ownership of personal and team skill development with full commitment and attendance to all training and development sessions.
  • Sets and monitors benchmarks for personal development within team
  • Identifies any developmental training needs
  • Continually acts as an ambassador for the agency in all internal and external events.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Currently studying towards an Bachelors degree, or requires an internship to complete their studies
  • Someone with gravitas and confidence, with a can-do attitude and always looking for ways to improve what we do
  • Player and a passionate motivator, who can communicate and relate to all levels of people.
  • Previous commercial experience across both offline and online media from a media agency environment is preferable
  • Ideally prior experience of client management and clear communication skills with a strong ability to present ideas with conviction
