The ERP Analyst plans, administers and controls activities related to the design and development of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, including structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection.   Develops and monitors the policies, procedures and standards pertaining to ERP platform, security, maintenance, and utilization.  May create/design and run reports using PC platforms or report writing tools based on end-user needs

This position will work under defined parameters adhering to not only the procedures of the company but ensuring that client needs and expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.

  • Implements new procedures, etc. to ensure optimal performance of ERP
  • Assist in scope development and implementation work based on requirements, suggest possible solutions, identify components and tasks and provide estimates
  • Test ERP changes
  • Create and maintain Crystal Reports.
  • Provide technical support to other staff members and customers.
  • Assist in the development of relevant architecture governance and development standards.
  • Assist in the Development and document governance and best practices for defining, implementing and deploying solutions through ERP environment (from development to testing to production)
  • Troubleshoot problems and faults and provide additional support for the team
  • Produce and contribute to the product backlog and specifications for internal and external audiences.
  • Meet with decision makers, and end users to gather and define business/operational requirements, to identify or resolve system issues.
  • Ability to learn all aspects of the Hagen/Monarch system to help facilitate the answering of client issues.
  • Assist with general desktop and network support for internal customers

Bachelor degree in computer science, graphic technologies, print technologies, or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience. Able to demonstrate ability to solve somewhat complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job. Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately. Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at a level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity. Must be able to proactively listen to others and understand issues and situations while communicating in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.

Able to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing MS Windows or other technical tools in completing assignments. May require knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments. Able to demonstrate continued expertise in primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments. Proven expert knowledge of standard software packages, familiarity with current ERP-Monarch software preferred.
