Position at The Occasions Group, Inc.

This position will involve a range of creative facets and will require excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks on tight deadlines, and strong communication skills.

  • Partner with departments to support the creation and evolution of digital and print marketing materials for internal companies and clients
  • Ensure design consistency such as the appropriate usage of color, composition, perspective, and layout to maintain consistency across multiple brands and channels (e.g. social media posts, email, videos, and print materials)
  • Work both individually and in groups to produce defined project deliverables on tight deadlines
  • Effectively communicate
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
  • Clean up computers
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests
  • Be able to diagnose and resolve common technical issues
  • Monitor help desk tickets and process first-in first-out based on priority and escalate as necessary
  • Assist with setting up computers for new users
  • Work on special projects as they arise
  • Good design eye
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency to achieve
  • Self-motivated

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant technical experience preferred.
  • Experience in Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other emerging technologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Able to demonstrate a moderate to advanced understanding and application of design fundamentals
  • Able to think critically and creatively while not being afraid to go outside their comfort zone
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and enjoys problem-solving
  • Must be highly collaborative and open to constructive feedback from peers and clients
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, skill, and innovative spirit for problem-solving and taking on challenges
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, collaborate effectively as a team member, and manage several projects at one time
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer/technical issues
