Maintenance Technician


Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for set-up and calibration of production machinery in a printing manufacturing environment, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing machinery including digital printing equipment.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineering and maintenance personnel in the set-up and calibration of production machinery, including digital printing machines
  • Perform re-work and quality testing of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
  • Conduct on-line and off-line adjustments to equipment and instruments
  • Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify production processes
  • Maintain appropriate quality control documentation
  • Preventative maintenance duties as required
  • Special projects and assignments as needed



Maintenance Technician Proficiencies, Skills, and Job Requirements


  • 4+ years of relevant technical/engineering experience and a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent education and experience
  • PLC programming knowledge, as well as electrical knowledge
  • Additional Engineering Certifications preferred
  • Ability to interact with production operators, maintenance personnel, and management personnel to diagnose and correct production issues
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Adept as using hand tools
  • Strong computer and basic math skills
  • Ability to withstand repetitive walking, standing and stooping; ability to lift over 10lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally
