Travel Tags is seeking an Account Executive to provide excellent service and solutions through professional and face to face interaction primarily with new organizations (prospecting) and customersThe position is responsible for identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.


Shift Available

  • Monday through Friday, occasionally requiring weekend work


Responsibilities Include:

  • Generate sales by consulting with customer to assess needs and promote products and/or services as a problem solving service solution
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Liaison between Travel Tags, Inc. and potential markets
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly and annual sales goals within assigned and acquired accounts
  • Initiate outbound calls and emails to solicit sales and leads from new and existing customers
  • Qualify leads and opportunities to ensure budget objectives are met
  • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers and closing sales.
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Represent Travel Tags, Inc. at trade exhibitions and events
  • Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records of all sales accounts, opportunities and activities in Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)
  • Gain clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations
  • Travel as needed to make presentations, close sales and attend trade shows


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years prospecting for new business, cold calling, developing business


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to acquire product knowledge regarding new and existing products
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships based on mutual trust and respect
  • Ability to persevere and overcome objections from clients and customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively to large groups of people
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environment
  • Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees
  • Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
  • Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned
  • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
  • A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet research)
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
