AdGraphics is seeking a Customer Service Rep to Sell products and handle orders for wholesale to DistributorsWork requires substantial knowledge of items sold.  Rep will address orders through invoicing issues as needed to satisfy Customer needs. Work is transactional and highly service orientated with a relatively short sales cycle. 

 The position is responsible for Distributor calls, order entry and follow-up requests.

 

Shift Available

  • FT Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Respond to and/or make a high volume of telephone calls with current and/or potential customers.
  • Use a computer system to track calls, questions, answers, and check status of or enter orders.
  • Answer Customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Consult with Customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Enter orders for all brands into customer service data base system. 
    • Conduct follow up communication with Customers by telephone and/or email to confirm proof approvals and/or requests for art revisions. 
  • Communicate and coordinate expedited orders with production personnel. 
  • Obtain credit information about prospective Customers.
  • Prepare estimates, and bids that meet specific Customer needs.
  • Provide Customers with product samples and catalogs.
  • Recommend products to Customers, based on Customers’ needs and interests.
  • Establishing and maintaining long term, interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Communicating with persons outside organization, representing the organization to Customers.  This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail
  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates via telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Ensures that customers receive the best service possible through positive interactions via various communication channels such as voice, email, internet chat and social media to ensure orders are processed correctly whether in a call center or non call center customer service environment. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in sales, customer service, and/or similar function, additional education may be substituted in part
  • Ability to accurately type a minimum of 25 words per minute

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in business or related field
  • Previous experience in calling environment
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong system skills including proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
    • Proven analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
