Progressive Impressions International is seeking an Account Director to lead and manage relationships between pii the Business Unit, other pii departments, and our Customer. The Account Director has customer, departmental and personnel responsibilities to ensure continual operations with the Business Unit. Customer responsibilities may include duties involving the client which pii services, departmental responsibilities are duties involving interoffice departments to ensure a job is executed, and personnel responsibilities include managing the employees that report directly to the Account Director.  In addition, this position has responsibility for maintaining relationships, working closely with the VP of Account Services to fulfill management responsibilities that manage and evaluate the Business Unit’s profitability for financial growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Effectively manage multiple short and long-term projects simultaneously.
  • Understand a project lifecycle; handle project related items as they occur in the unit.
  • Assign personnel to new projects and track project status; evaluate the workloads of department employees.
  • Maintain employee records, conduct evaluations in a timely manner, handle discipline matters as needed, recruiting, interviewing and hiring.
  • Be able to effectively supervise 12 – 20 people.
  • Recognize and appreciate employees for work and accomplishments, maintain and contribute to the growth and development of each direct employee through IDPs.
  • Manage relationships between the unit and other pii departments, attend team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain unit goals and objectives, plan and conduct regular Unit meetings, hold department orientations and other training sessions as needed.
  • Bolster organic growth by seeking opportunities within pii by providing additional services and or increasing profitability within the Unit by implementing new processes.
  • Manage/maintain customer relationships through individual SLA requirements.
  • Monitor cost centers and unit profitability for accuracy.
  • Understand billing procedures/processes and ensure billing compliances are met within the Unit.
  • Respect and maintain confidential information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-year degree in Business, Communication, or Computer Science or comparable experience preferred. 
  • Experience in financial, insurance, healthcare industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and proficiency in at least one OOP, procedural or web-based programming language preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and general relational database concepts preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Ability to travel – frequency may vary, but at times could be heavy.
