Taylor Healthcare is seeking an Account Manager for our Chicago (Carol Stream) location to build and maintain key customer contacts within an account.  Will also support assigned sales representative/account executive to develop sales of products and/or services; research and resolve customer problems; recommends modifications to the product/service line. Account Manager supports sales representatives by consulting with customers to develop sales of products and/or services, researching and resolving customer problems, recommending modifications to the product/service line, and supporting sales negotiations with appropriate regional sales personnel. Services the customer by coordinating the production of the products and/or services based on the customers' requirements.  Confers with customers and monitors progress of job through completion to keep informed of status, to solicit and resolve inquiries or complaints, and to obtain approvals (like wording, graphics, artwork, color separations, ink samples, and proofs). 

 Shift Available

  • Monday through Friday; may exceed 40+ hours in the week; some weekends as needed to ensure customer satisfaction


  • Servicing the customer by coordinating the production of the products/services based on the customer’s requirements
  • Confers with customers and monitors progress of jobs/orders through completion
  • Open, ongoing communication to keep customer informed of status of orders
  • Expedite timely processing of job in accordance with customers’ requirements
  • Act as liaison between the customer and the rest of the organization ensuring goals are achieved by managing to assigned timelines
  • Coordinates accounts resources with representatives from marketing, pre sales, information technology, development and customer services
  • Ensure management and overall customer satisfaction, by providing superior customer service

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in business or other relevant major (Business/Marketing/Finance or other business related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of Sales/Account Management experience
  • Expertise in the Healthcare industry and the ability articulate Taylor Healthcare’s value proposition to hospitals
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Excellent relationship building within multiple levels of accounts and throughout Taylor Communications
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management discipline: Detail oriented: Able to translate customer needs into actionable Taylor Communications deliverables.
  • Strong presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
