Taylor Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This role will support administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, selection, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partnering with employees and managers to communicate various Human Resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Working with management to set long-term staffing goals and strategies.
  • Counseling managers on employee relations’ issues such as performance problems, employee complaints, etc.  Investigating when necessary.
  • Facilitating and provides training to managers and employees on a variety of topics such as orientation, employment law topics and improvement related practices.
  • Working with business leaders to identify needed knowledge, skills, and abilities required for a position prior to interviewing, screening and recruiting job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical job openings. 
  • Partnering with business leaders to ensure effective Performance Management (PM) and Development processes are in place to ensure continual growth and development.
  • Recommending new approaches, policies and procedures in order to maintain continual improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong HR knowledge across all disciplines; recruiting, compensation, benefits, employment law, Learning & Development, and employee relations
  • Strong financial and operational business acumen needed
  • 5-7 years’ experience within progressively responsible HR Generalist roles preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Management.
