SUMMARYThe position requires a minimum of 0-3 years of related / relevant professional experience.  It also requires an accounting or finance degree or equivalent.  Candidate must know fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting/financeThe successful candidate will use established procedures and will work under immediate supervision, performing assigned tasks.


REPORTS TO: Senior Financial Analyst


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES: The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.  This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned


  • Assist with budget preparation process. 
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, variance analysis, cost reports, etc…
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the Company Leadership and other personnel in performing their responsibilities. Must possess strong financial acumen and be comfortable using a wide variety of financial techniques to perform financial analysis.
  • Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals and suggests methods for improving the planning process as appropriate.
  • Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities for improved financial performance.
  • Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others throughout the company.
  • Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of other departments on financial issues impacting their budgets.
  • Properly align pricing models of products and services with the market place and company financial goals.
  • Work with estimating personnel to ensure an open, communicative relationship with sales and account teams.
  • Assist with month end close process, including preparation of necessary data required to be uploaded into the corporate financial system, reconciliation of various accounts and processing check and wire requests.

COMMUNICATION: Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written communication form information to internal/external vendors/clients, staff and management.

TECHNICAL: Learn internal software applications as required for performing job functions. Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Office products.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Work with a variety of personalities and skill sets across Units and / or departments


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform advanced mathematical operations to include probabilities and statistical inference


PRIORITIZATION: Handle frequent interruptions yet refocus on the task at hand or determine the most important tasks. Adapt to a fast paced, high stress and changing environment.


ORGANIZATION: Ensure information can be found easily and tasks are completed on time. Pay attention to details. Maintain accuracy and quality.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: (to include technical/equipment skill capabilities, regulatory and/or licensing requirements)


  • Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
  • Travel may be required.
