Prime Pork is seeking an Inside Sales Manager Fresh Pork Sales.  This position is responsible for the following: 

  • Supervise all industrial sales and assist to resolve all issues and recommend prevention of any issues in processes and maintain professional relationships with all customers within assign area and ensure achievement of all revenue goals within facility and ensure profitability in sales.
  • Solicit potential customers and travel to customer locations to sell company’s products. This requires finding sales opportunities, contacting many potential customers, demonstrating the industrial product or service and closing the sale with the customer.
  • Create a purchase order or receive payment from the customer and arrange for the customer to receive the products in a timely fashion.
  • Assist the customer with any questions or concerns after the sale.
  • Responsible for creating sales reports, maintaining files and reviewing competitor's products and the employer's new products to stay competitive.
  • Analyze all requirements of individual market areas and recommend strategies to increase revenue and profitability and analyze all market trends and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction to maintain profitability of organization and recommend strategies to improve profits.
  • Develop and implement various sales programs to facilitate sales and assist to retain customers to organization and execute various market strategies to reach all budget objectives and provide support to all teams and ensure compliance to all customer standards.
  • Maintain optimal level of customer services for all industrial sales activities and ensure adherence to all industry standard and maintain accuracy of all bills and ensure achievement of all management goals and prepare appropriate business goals for assign industrial market area.
  • Analyze all information and ensure confidentiality for same and ensure compliance to all management activities and prepare reports for all customers on weekly and quarterly basis and provide support to all sales and technical activities.
  • Perform financial analysis of all products and forecast all sales requirements and monitor inventory of all products and prepare reports for all competitor sales activities and maintain knowledge of all state and federal regulations.
  • Manage all communication with purchasing and sales department and recommend appropriate price changes for new products and participate in various trade shows and conventions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or four years of related work experience along with 5 years’ experience in pork or other meat sales or customer service role. 
  • Demonstrated skillset in effective sales process and deal closure.
  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive successful relationship building.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with demonstrated experience reporting and tracking sales metrics.
  • Must have a solid understanding of ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 
  • Ability to lead a diverse work force.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Internet, spreadsheet, Word processing, order processing and sales software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills; ability to effectively listen, acknowledge, and show calm when dealing with customers and company personnel on all level issues/complaints.
  • High-energy and positive "can-do" approach when dealing with inside sales team and internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated excellence with organizational skills, problem solving skills, and decision-making skills while working under pressure.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to employees in the sales department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
