Taylor Communications is seeking an Inside Sales Director, to lead our team of B2B inside sales reps, helping them exceed quotas and meet their goals. The Inside Sales team is made up of one Sales Manager, who manages 11 B2B Sales Reps, spanning >12,000 customers. You’ll be in charge of campaign development to drive sales growth, analyzing sales data from Salesforce, and recommending solutions to increase sales and overall product mix. 

 

Shift Available

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruiting future inside sales talent
  • Partnering with Learning & Performance to develop new hire on-boarding and continuous education training programs to support sales success
  • Drive and expand sales into existing accounts to grow revenue
  • Coaching for performance
  • Managing pipeline velocity and sales productivity via Salesforce.com dashboards and reports
  • Discovering new sales intelligence tools for more effective account prioritization and lead generation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional leaders in field sales to optimize account coverage model
  • Create and sustain a working environment that supports a team based selling channel (i.e. professionalism, respect, open communication etc.)
  • Provide strategic direction around optimizing the role of the inside sales organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • College degree requested
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Inside Sales in a Business to Business setting
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills necessary. Previous management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of outbound and inbound telesales, basic marketing principles and practices, and personal computer systems
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and initiate programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate concepts clearly and document procedures
  • Aptitude for evaluation, problem solving, planning, and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to exercise judgment in prioritizing tasks in order to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills along with the ability to identify problem areas, trends, and opportunities and take the appropriate action
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead teams through organizational change while exceeding sales targets and improving operational excellence
