Quality Control Supervisor (5140 )

Travel Tags is seeking a Quality Process Control Supervisor to be responsible for managing daily workflow while ensuring all quality and safety metrics are met. This position is also responsible for resolving quality control issues.  Lastly, this position is also responsible for hiring, training and maintaining employee performance records while ensuring a safe, clean and efficient work environment.


Shift Available

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and followed
  • Maintain and monitor workflow by establishing and adjusting resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs
  • Communicate goals and standards to employees
  • Resolve employee issues by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions and recommending action
  • Conduct employee training and performance appraisal process
  • Communicates directly with customers on quality issues and produces inspection plans
  • Resolves quality assurance issues through the use of CPAR and root cause analysis
  • Designs and implements work flow process mapping and improvement plans
  • Maintains a relationship with external suppliers and assists them in creating improvement measures in order to ensure high product quality
  • Maintain departmental standards in order to remain compliant with AIB and Food Safety standards
  • Understands and complies with quality systems regulations, ISO standards, and all federal, state, and local regulations


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Three (3) years of experience in the fields of quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or manufacturing


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • JMP and FileMaker experience
