Taylor Communications is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to service customer needs and requests and provide ongoing support to designated sales reps. The position is responsible for acting as a liaison between the customer and sales rep and production facility; supporting the account via telephone, e-mail and fax; processing and following up on all types of orders; and maintaining files and other related duties as assigned.

 

Shift Available

  • Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily Account Management (small revenue/small volume customers only): Maintain positive, productive relationships with assigned customers and internal teams. Responsible for direct customer contact and overall coordination of daily requirements and projects. Manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously. Ensure production has the resources, data and complete/accurate specifications to produce the jobs. Follow up with production to ensure timelines and customer requirements are met.
  • Production & technical Liaison –main point of contact for production and technical for issue resolution, product issues, prioritization of workload based on known client SLAs, new implementation testing. Review new applications, projects, clients with production to ensure orders meet production standards to allow for efficiency and productivity.  Works closely with production to ensure daily, rush, expedite or adhoc orders are shipped on time.
  • Reporting: Prepare product or service related reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Present customer specific reports based on contractual turn-time.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school (or GED); prefer post high school education in business including training in PC skills, word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • One year prior customer service experience; prefer prior industry related customer service experience
  • Basic PC skills including ability to navigate in a windows environment and proficiency in software applications (Word, Excel)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills are necessary in dealing with customers, account reps. and managers. Ability to develop relationships with customers based on strong, interpersonal communication skills and trust. Telephone communication skills
  • Good written communication skills to professionally communicate with customers, account reps and managers via email
  • Time management, organization, and follow-through skills. Ability to work independently
