The Account Executive will be responsible for managing accounts within the dealer services program with a focuses on retaining and increasing Custom Print sales by effectively selling a wide range of custom printed products. The Account Executive is wholly responsible for the satisfaction, growth and development of his/her account base of approximately 250 accounts. Manage all pre-sale inquiries in a timely and professional manner through different channels of lead generation. Promote cross sell and up-sell opportunities, and support post-sale customer. Conduct acquisition and share of wallet interactions to identify and secure incremental CP opportunities.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the sales growth and customer development for approximately 250 CDK customers within the Dealer Services program.

Contact customer base within frequency determine by the business. Some overnight travel is necessary. Minimum 3 days a week out in field is required.

Demonstrates strong knowledge of dealership industry, product assortment, and CDK offering.

Discover and analyze prospects needs, determine which features/benefits of CDK will appeal the most to the customer and present those features/benefits to the customer

Identify all purchasers within the customer organization in account base and build strong relationships with all levels of decision maker.

Provide bids, quotes, and negotiate pricing to customers as needed. Follow defined procedures and processes, and complete all required documentation for customers, as well as entries to support system(s).

Collaborate with internal and client resources to drive a positive customer experience and customer loyalty to CDK

Provide feedback to client and the internal client partner community to enhance the customer experience.

Exceptional decision making skills are necessary to resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner by leveraging appropriate resources and promoting CDK as a total solution.

Collect marketing intelligence and customer data as required

Respond to Sales Coaching delivered by his/her Team Manager and/or Sales Coach

Attend required skills training and applies knowledge learned during the training



Job Knowledge/Experience Required:

Demonstrates strong product knowledge of the Custom Print.

Ability to present to C-Level, and Sr. Management executives within dealership and dealership groups.

Solid organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task related to product offerings, competing customer requests and documentation needs.

Thrive in fast-paced and changing environment.

Utilize internal resources to overcome obstacles.

Strong organization, time management, and decision making skills are necessary.

3-5 years of excellent sales skills required with proven ability to grow share of wallet spend.

Auto Industry knowledge is a plus.

Customer service oriented with strong communication skills.

Fluent/comprehensive knowledge of custom print products and services.

Strong interpersonal skills with highly developed skills in verbal and written communication

Ability to work independently and creatively.

Strong business acumen is required; Bachelor’s degree in a business field is a plus.

Exhibit positive work habits as related to schedule adherence, daily production and interaction with the sales team.
