Systems Administrator IIDaVinci Application

 

Department:  CX Business Operations

Reports to: Manager, Design

Taylor Communication is seeking a Systems Administrator II for our DaVinci application.  The DaVinci Systems Administrator II will be responsible for managing the day to day as well as future operation of the DaVinci application, a program used for both internal and external facing document collaboration.  This will include daily troubleshooting, on-the-fly report generation, enhancement ideation, and developer collaboration to support the tool as well as general tool administration and training leadership.  This position collaborates with application partners for installs of new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems and ensures that our application partner performs system backups and recovery. This position have a key role in working with the CX Business Operations and Design leadership for  standardizing and streamlining commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within customer setup and the flows required for design, setup, reporting, billing  and overall flow with the CX organization.


Shift Available

· Full time and may include nights and weekends


Responsibilities Include:
 

          Identify solution interfaces, constraints, scope, costs, risks and value proposition.

          Identify key decision makers and stakeholders of each group supported and work with them to document requirements for application enhancements

          Document all relevant information, requirements, limitations, and instructions regarding the application and technology functions

          Provide technical guidance and advice to management for decision making. 

          Articulate pros and cons of various enhancements and be able to influence key decision makers

          Effectively deal with escalations and ability to make decisions to drive to a solution or resolution

          Coordinate and/or manage the transfer of information/documentation to customers, internal users, and developers.

          Develop standardized project plans, process flows, guidelines, release notes and other appropriate documentation

          Provide expertise to customers, sales, management, design groups and customer service to ensure timely, quality resolution of support issues of all levels of complexity


Minimum Qualifications:

          4 year degree in Business, Technology or related field

          2+ years experience working within the DaVinci Application

          2 +  years of experience in working directly with customers

          Strong interpersonal, communication and customer-facing skills

          Experience in writing business documents including technical requirement documents

          Candidate must have excellent customer service skills and provide excellent End User support. 

          Have excellent team skills and be able to work with others or on their own as needed 

          Work with other teams such as DBA and/or developer to ensure system stability and proper support. 

          Provide technical support and guidance to other staff in the IS department in the areas of programming techniques, structural methods, testing, and especially business processes and documentation. 

          Must have knowledge of MS SQL and the ability to create SQL Queries and SQL Reports

          Have previous experience with the application development cycle and application maintenance practices

          Must be experienced with MS Access

          Ability to exercise independent judgment

          Proven ability to manage prioritization when working with internal teams to develop a project plan to increase the working footprint of the application  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

          4 year degree in Business, Technology or related field
