Taylor Communications is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to work in our Jeffersonville, Indiana location. The position is responsible to track inventory in Warehouse Management System (WMS).  Verify available inventory for orders. Monitor, audit, and provide reports on inventory levels to ensure that appropriate supply of products are available in the distribution center.

 

 

Shift Available

  • 2:00pm – 10:30pm Monday – Friday

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive and scan delivered supplies, materials, and equipment into distribution center.
  • Confirm that delivered goods match purchase order specifications such as quantity, condition, and model number.
  • Receive returned material stock items and determine suitability of material for restocking.
  • Utilize computer to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials, and associated back-orders.
  • Enter inventory into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts of inventory.
  • Ensure all products contain the appropriate barcode ID labels.
  • Stock inventory shelving in the appropriate bin.
  • Operate forklift, stock picker, and reach truck.
  • Maintain inventory for office supplies by re-ordering supplies when needed.
  • Enter any discrepancy with a product onto the Unable to Receive report (UTR), once sales resolves the issue produce the correct receipt for the item.
  • Meet Distribution productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
  • Follow all established safety rules and regulations and utilize required safety equipment.
  • Report defective equipment or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 2-3 years related experience, or commensurate combination or education and experience
  • Experience with forklift.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems
