Job Summary: 

The Product Designer, under the direction of the Product Development Manager and Director, will create original new product designs and supportive engineering specifications; and assist in the development of a variety of high perceived value pens, calendars and other products for the promotional market.



  • Create original product design and technical solutions from the conceptual stage to sample completion and approval.
  • Complete designs in the required number monthly, to ensure a continuous flow of successful new product launches.
  • Prepare artwork, product design and specification for internal review, presentation and production/vendor evaluation.
  • Manage files for all design work through numerous revisions to final production sample approval.
  • From original design work, operate and maintain company rapid prototyping equipment.
  • Assist in other product development functions.


Proficiency and Skills Required:

  • Innovative thinker and problem solver executing creative and aesthetic decisions on product design and development. 
  • Experienced in CAD system design and proficient in SolidWorks programming.
  • A self-starter in managing and delivering on project objectives, but able to take direction and work effectively as part of the development team and in collaboration with other departments.


Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Industrial Design (or related field) and/or 2 years professional product design experience.
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, handle rigid deadlines and multiple revisions
  • Positivity, enthusiasm and ability to work in fast-paced atmosphere.
