Branded Merchandise - Director of Promotional Marketing – Virtual

Taylor Communications is seeking a Director of Promotional Marketing to join our team and be responsible for the Northeast market. This role is eligible to work virtual. This role will serve as branded merchandise sales leader for key existing and target account pursuits. 

SUMMARY:

  • Partner with the Regional Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents in targeting strategic net new customers and close contracts for promotional merchandise programs
  • Strategize with Regional Vice Presidents and Account Executives to identify large revenue expansion and cross-selling opportunities with existing base of business
  • Ability to close annual targeted contract and revenue objectives
  • Ability to decide how to approach the market.
  • Ability to decide who the decision makers are.
  • Ability to decide what value to bring to a customer.
  • Ability to close multi-year program and contract business

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct sales of promotional merchandise and marketing solution opportunities through new business development
  • Act as a liaison in cross-selling activities
  • Set example within sales team through success in new business development opportunities
  • Identify target clients and secure access to high level decision makers
  • Create presence within a defined market
  • Drive significant new acquisition opportunities
  • Create high level relationships.
  • Communicate full Taylor Communications promotional marketing value proposition.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated 5+ year’s direct sales record with high level of achievement in the Promotional Product or Marketing Services industry.
  • 3+ years of successful Sales Management experience preferred
  • “C” level selling experience required.
  • Experience with Large, National, and Global accounts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, sales or related field; or equivalent work experience preferred
