Western Graphics & Data is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician Sr. to diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve pieces of equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Shift Available

  • Shift 2: Thursday – Saturday with alternating Wednesdays, 4:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of equipment
  • Perform effective emergency repairs on all types of equipment
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, ventilation, structural, and other building and facilities maintenance and repairs
  • Assemble and install new equipment
  • Make modifications to existing equipment to reduce downtime and maximize production efficiencies
  • Work closely with and be able to communicate with internal and external suppliers
  • Keep accurate records
  • Work within defined budgets; maintain daily and monthly expenses
  • Create requisitions for equipment and parts
  • Train other co-workers and/or new hires on proper use of equipment
  • Provide technical support to all areas of Travel Tags, Inc.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in electrical, industrial maintenance, or other related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in machine maintenance or facilities maintenance
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and schedule/coordinate multiple projects
  • Ability to read diagrams and blueprints
  • Knowledge of mechanical workings, including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical
  • Strong decision making ability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environment
  • Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees
  • Reacts to change productively and is able to handle other tasks as assigned
  • Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
  • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and internet research
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
