Director Talent Acquisition

The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead sourcing and selection practices that deliver value-added service to our diverse family of companies. This role leads the design, development and deployment of talent acquisition strategies reflecting our global and broad based talent needs. The successful individual will demonstrate effective leadership, process design capability, flexibility, and a willingness to effectively manage multiple simultaneous priorities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop strategies and programs that attract, retain, promote, and grow a diverse workforce in support of company objectives.
  • Analyze existing policies and procedures related to talent acquisition and recommend/implement improvements.
  • Promote positive community relations and develop/maintain effective partnerships and vendor relationships that promote Taylor Corporation and company employment brands.
  • Develop of a broad variety of projects designed to improve operational effectiveness, employee engagement and/or Human Resources services.
  • Assist with organizational efforts to maintain and improve company culture.
  • Prepare and present required and special reports and appropriate metrics.
  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy about business and employment markets, culture and competitors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ experience in human resources, preferably with a talent acquisition emphasis within a medium/large-sized organization.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including a strong focus in recruiting, federal and state employment laws, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and compensation practices.
  • Demonstrated success with designing and implementing talent focused programs and strategies.
  • Demonstrated team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience in creating scorecards, dashboards, management reports.
  • HR certification or master’s degree preferred.
