Position at Taylor Communications

Taylor Communications is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform maintenance and repair work. The position is responsible for preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and repair maintenance on printing machinery, on night shift. They will also work on general plant equipment and facility maintenance.


Shift Available

  • 10 am to 6 pm  Monday thru Friday.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform preventative maintenance as directed or deemed necessary to insure equipment is maintained in a safe and proper manner.
  • Perform repairs as assigned and maintain accurate record by work order software
  • Provide support and other related duties as assigned. Must have understanding and aptitude to work on machines.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a working knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Must have PLC knowledge.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and program AC and DC motor drives.
  • Must be able to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics.
  • Must have general knowledge of electrical and electronics components

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.  .
  • Must meet the minimum Maintenance shop equipment experience standards.
  • Must be able and will to work overtime and an on call rotation.
  • On to three years previous maintenance experience with emphasis on electronic -mechanical equipment with NFPA Electrical Training
