Taylor Healthcare is seeking an Account Executive in the Chicago, IL area to grow the existing base of account business. Responsible for achieving assigned sales quota and goals for customers located within a defined geographic territory or account list. Prospects and develops business, responds to RFPs and develops proposals for customer presentations.



Shift Available

  • Monday through Friday; may exceed 40+ hours in the week; some weekends as needed to ensure customer satisfaction


Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying new opportunities for revenue and profit growth
  • Maintain relationships at strategic levels within the account, from Executive to Department Head, to end user, to ensure alignment with the hospital’s goals and vision
  • Coordinates accounts resources with representatives from marketing, pre sales, information technology, development and customer services
  • Ensure management of a large account base by providing superior customer service


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in business or other relevant major
  • Minimum of 3 years of Sales experience
  • Expertise in the Healthcare industry and the ability articulate Taylor Healthcare’s value proposition to hospitals
  • Strong knowledge of ROI/ROA concepts; excellent problem solver
  • Excellent relationship building within multiple levels of accounts and throughout Taylor Communications
  • Excellent Planning discipline: Able to convey the organizational and account vision and ensure accountability of all team members to achieve goals
  • Detail oriented: Able to translate customer needs into actionable Taylor Communications deliverables.
  • Display solutions oriented creativity
  • Excellent negotiation skills, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and delegation skills, achievement oriented
  • Some travel may be required


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 4-8 years selling experience; preferably in print/mail/promo industry or technology experience
