Taylor is seeking an ERP Project Manager to work within the technology PMO. The position is responsible for managing all aspects from initiation through closing.  Candidate will coordinate work performed by IS/IT staff, internal and external partners by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs assessments.  Often involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams.  Applicants need to exhibit a high degree of leadership.  Project managers with Taylor routinely manage large multifaceted projects that span multiple platforms, systems, companies, etc. and has significant impact to the larger organization.

*The position is primarily located in Mankato, but telecommute could be considered from within the greater Mankato or Twin Cities area.


Responsibilities Include:


• Be accountable to the Project Sponsor for leading the successful delivery of a project according to measures of scope, time, cost & quality.
• Provide business and/or technical leadership to the extent needed for successful conduct of the project
• Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed. 
• Deploy project management principles and techniques to one or more projects that span multiple functional departments (IT and Business)
• Manage deliverables from all functional teams ensuring they meet the define timeline and quality
• Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project task, activity, documentation and time information per internal standards
• Manage large scale projects from start to close
• Lead meetings at team and executive levels
• Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documenting, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. 
• Balance project scope/budget/timelines in accordance with requirements
Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and executives
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks


Minimum Qualifications:


  Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of IT project management experience
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Project
• Ability to deal with highly technical and complex projects
• Familiarity with a variety of technology solutions
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and best fit across ERP, web and other projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodology and tools
• Travel up to 20%


Preferred Qualifications:


• Project management certification
• Degree in IT/IS, project management, business or engineering
• Experience with customer facing applications
• Experience in print industry, supply chain, footprint/facilities, technology, or mergers/acquisitions
