Travel Tags is seeking an HR Business Partner, Sr. in our HR department to provide human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit. This candidate will use their knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to line managers. This position consults with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs. Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.


Shift Available

  • 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility around business needs


Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop talent acquisition plans in collaboration with Mangers and Supervisor to ensure labor plans are met and resourced; recruit, source and interview prospective candidates thereby building an effective pipeline.
  • Conduct pre-employment and onboarding tasks through ATS tasks, including: recruiting, resume and application management, scheduling interviews, conducting preliminary interviews, pre-employment screening and job offers; employment verification, new hire paperwork and employee benefits assistance.
  • Assist in creation of employee engagement and leadership development programs in order shape the employee experience
  • Assist managers in resolving employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Act as lead HR liaison during customer social compliance audits, ensuring payroll and training information is supplied in order to maintain certification
  • Provide exceptional service to employees and managers by responding quickly, completely and professionally.
  • Apply HR best practices and principles, consulting with HR Director when necessary; Recommend operating policies and procedural improvements for the HR department.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and training of human resources policies and procedures
  • Administration of company benefit plans which involves educating and enrolling employees in benefit options
  • Conduct company trainings, assign and manage employee e-learning through Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Conduct exit interviews in order to identify retention concerns.
  • Counsel management team concerning employee work-related issues such as staffing, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and performance reviews.
  • Assist in the development and administration of company recognition programs; assist in organizing company-sponsored events or activities.
  • Ensure consistent implementation and application of company policies and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 6-8 years of related/relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of human resources principles and practices
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, perform varied work that is complex in nature with independent judgment, and interact with a diverse group of internal & external customers

  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment regulations, statues , law
