The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Suffolk University invites applications for a one year instructor position beginning on July 1, 2019. The successful candidate will support the general chemistry curriculum (CHEM 111/L111 and 112/L112), courses that are taken by all chemistry, biochemistry, and biology majors. CHEM 111/L111 are options for physics and mathematics majors, and also fulfill the science core requirement for non-majors. This position involves teaching a course load of eight courses (4/4).
Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in chemistry and one year of laboratory teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate should be familiar with innovative pedagogies and demonstrate excellent teaching skills.
