About the Job

STG is seeking a detail oriented, dynamic, and experienced Information Assurance Compliance Analyst to add to its team in support of the United States Postal Service.  The Information Assurance Compliance Analyst will oversee, evaluate, and validate the accreditation process necessary to assure that new information technology systems meet the organization’s information assurance and security requirements.  The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support of various applications and implement all agency’s standards.
  • Review all Information Assurance policies and participate in certification and accreditation activities.
  • Remediate systems across multiple networks.
  • Perform risk analysis on assigned computer systems, identify mitigation requirements, and develop accreditation recommendations.
  • Assist in transition of security policies for Information Assurance configurations.
  • Develop documentation for systems and networks undergoing certification.
  • Validate the quality of deliverables produced by the team.
  • Determine enterprise information assurance and security standards.
  • Develop and implement Information Assurance and security standards and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working as an Information Assurance Analyst for an information technology, risk management, information assurance, or information management program.
  • Bachelors Degree in a technical specialty (Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a technical specialty (Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field)
  • CompTIA Security +
  • GSEC
  • SSCP
  • CCNA
