About the Job

STG, Inc. is looking to add an experienced Facilities Engineer to its team in support of the United States Air Force!  The selected candidate will join a talented team providing cutting edge technical and analytical support to the Twenty Fourth Air Force.  The Facilities Engineer will lead O&M planning and projects, apply principles methods of real property planning, real estate management, and master planning methodology to meet facility and infrastructure needs.  This position is located in San Antonio, Texas. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current land, facility and infrastructure conditions regularly.
  • Anticipate future facility and infrastructure development needs.
  • Determine facility shortfalls and develop maintenance plans to correct insufficiencies.
  • Perform O&M planning, project analysis, management, and coordination.
  • Support real property planning and real estate management.
  • Determine resource needs, allocation of resources, and budgeting/funding needs.
  • Consult with contractors or engineering firms as required.
  • Work with end users to develop infrastructure plans to meet requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years demonstrated relevant experience as a civil engineer or facilities manager
  • Certified Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Facilities Manager
  • Experience analyzing facility and infrastructure conditions
  • Familiar with CAD and GIS software
  • Knowledge of infrastructure planning principles
  • Ability to coordinate multiple sources of information to develop succinct plans
  • Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Strategic Planning, or related field
  • 12+ years demonstrated relevant experience as a civil engineer or facilities manager
  • Experience as a Logistician or similar MOS in the U.S. Armed Forces

Clearance Requirement

  • Top Secret with current SCI eligibility
