STG, Inc. has an immediate opportunity as an Associate Web Application Developer located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ! This position will support NETCOM G-6 providing cutting edge services and tools to the United States Army.

As an Associate Web Application Developer you will provide IT support to NETCOM G-6 and supported organizations for Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) hardware, software, data, applications, tools, systems used by the Army. This includes direct support to NETCOM G-6 with business operations, Cybersecurity, Knowledge Management Integration (KMI), Army Enterprise Service Ownership/Development, Capability Management and Content Management requirements. You will be expected to provide support in line with industry best practices such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and provide support on all environments, hardware, software, applications, tools, systems, or networks used by the Government. Work will include but is not limited the following tasks:

  • Design, develop, operate and maintain SharePoint portals supporting NETCOM-wide business processes and information sharing requirements in all NETCOM managed Army DoDIN environments
  • Design, develop, operate, and maintain automated workflows based on Government requirements
  • Document and trace all portal related requirements
  • Administer top-level site collection and all NETCOM managed site collections
  • Design and develop Web sites, Web pages, Web parts and custom list solutions based on Government requirements
  • Provide and reinforce security of all assigned knowledge systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information and business processes. Provide statistics about Web sites and applications, such as storage, memory, number of users, sub-sites, response time, capacity management, security monitoring, and trends to improve the overall services. Using privileged level access, test and integrate emerging tools, technologies and capabilities, such as, C#, Java, HTML, Fortify, Quest WebParts, Dell QuickApps, Nintex, Microsoft ASP.NET, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other third-party technologies based on Government requirements

  • Design the website to support the organization's strategies and goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS + 2 years of Information Technology (IT) Familiarity or AA/AS or BA/BS at minimum
  • Must have IAT II certification (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) or equivalent prior to hire
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
  • Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity designing applications, developing, operating and maintaining portals, web sites and applications on an enterprise scale.
  • Web software development utilizing C#, ASP.NET, Java, Java Script, PHP, XMLO, JSON, JQuery, SQL, HTML.
  • Familiarity with both SharePoint and Non SharePoint environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as, Fortify, Quest WebParts, Dell QuickApps, Nintex, Microsoft ASP.NET, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other third-party Government provided technologies.
  • Ensure application configuration compliance with DoD and Army regulations DISA STIGs and IAVAs
  • Support existing developers and provide enterprise support for the Army in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Build and configure web applications in support of highly visible mission areas
  • Assist system administrators/developers with issues and effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical problems
  • Provision, secure, operate, maintain, troubleshoot web assets and resources
  • Document technical troubleshooting efforts in ticketing system and Knowledge Management Systems
  • Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadline
  • Follow organizational processes and polices
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor team members and colleagues
  • Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities
  • Interact with customer representatives on highly advanced technical issues
  • Compose and deliver reports and presentations of the highest professional quality.
  • Recommends technologies to accomplish long-term objectives
  • Develops concepts, products, or technologies that extend knowledge in fields of expertise
