STG, Inc. has an immediate opportunity as a Help Desk Support Service Specialist - Associate located in Huntsville Alabama. This position will support APCE, which provides cutting edge Cloud Services to the Army.

 

Provides first level of communication (Tier 1) helpdesk support to users of programs computers by telephone.   Support may include, but is not limited to, PC and laptop computers, disc drives and computer or telecommunication systems and network/wireless networks.  Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Serves as customer contact on technical - and service-related problems.  Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Clearance: 

  • Position requires a Secret security clearance

 

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of help desk agent work
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel to include: pivot tables and advance reporting techniques.
  • 1+ year of experience with Service Desk ticketing solutions. Preferably ServiceNow.
  • Technical writing ability.
  • Extremely good time management skills; ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Written and verbal.

 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.

 

Certification Requirements:

  • Security+ certification

  • ServiceNow ticketing experience.
