This job requires that you are a US Citizen, have a Secret clearance or be eligible for a DoD government Secret security clearance.


The Deployment Engineer ensures the successful implementation of applications in the production environment and their transition to full operational support. The Deployment Engineer is responsible for planning and executing the deployment of software improvements in the client’s production environment.


The Deployment Engineer to standup software patches to improve existing application performance. The DE will draw on formal education and past experience to plan and install and configure the software changes. Job related responsibilities include creating deployment plans, performing software installs and server configurations and creating user test plans. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency with .Net applications, Windows operating systems, SQL data tier environment, networking and appropriate security concepts. The Engineer will be accountable for creating and maintaining standards, policies, procedures and documentation and coordinating with various stakeholders teams; end-user, software development, configuration management, Independent Verification and Validation and production support to ensure deployed systems meet program compliance.


  • Degree (2 or 4 year) and 5 years of IT experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years' overall experience interacting face to face with customers in a professional setting
  • Experience installing, configuring, upgrading and migrating Microsoft Windows servers, Windows desktops, .Net applications, routers, PC hardware, printers and computer networking equipment
  • Problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical issues, involving internal and external resources to achieve corporate goals and objectives
