About the Job

STG is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cyber Threat Analyst to add to its team in support of the United States Postal Service.  The Cyber Threat Analyst will identify and assess the capabilities and activities of cyber criminals or foreign intelligence entities.  Objectives include delivering timely, actionable information in order to foster situational awareness and enable proactive decision making and promoting enhanced active defense measures within the USPS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce timely, accurate, relevant, and predictive external and internal intelligence by identifying and reporting on malicious cyber actors.
  • Assist in preparing multi-disciplined intelligence and law enforcement reports to document analysis.
  • Follow industry standards, principles, and methods to determine threat targets based on collected data.
  • Identify and develop threat signatures from all available sources.
  • Implement and support standard procedures for incident response.
  • Interface with multiple internal and external teams to prepare for and respond to incidents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as an Intelligence Analyst, in Security Operations, or Incident Response
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Equivalent combination of education/training/experience in lieu or Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • CISA
  • CISM
  • RCHE
  • GIAC certifications
