About the Job

STG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to add to its team in support of the United States Air Force.  The Program Manager will lead a talented team providing cutting edge technical and analytical support to the Twenty Fourth Air Force.

The Program Manager has authority to act on behalf of STG, Inc. and full responsibility for the overall effective management and allocation of the personnel and resources necessary to meet all program contract specifications.  The Program Manager makes decisions that impact both performance and cost and is responsible for all program related issues.  This position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the autonomous authority for the overall program.
  • Manage all aspects of the program including planning, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and status reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of the contact for the program for all technical aspects of the required work.
  • Develop, implement and apply program wide management control procedures. Ensure that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.
  • Use performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, and ensure delivery of contracted product deliverables and services.
  • Establish policies and procedures for performance and control of contract related management functions and the management and supervision of technical support.
  • Institute and maintain a process that ensures problems and action items are tracked through resolution.
  • Establish and maintain a document set of processes for administering all program efforts with an emphasis on cost efficiency, schedule, performance, and consistent high-quality delivery.
  • Manage submission of CDRL reports and ensure they are completed and delivered in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of program management, project management, or task lead experience in a military enterprise level environment.
  • DAU Level 3 Acquisition or PMP Certification
  • Experience planning personnel requirements and changing mission requirements.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of corporate and government personnel.
  • Ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems without supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of program management experience in a military enterprise level environment.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level II

Clearance Requirement

  • Top Secret with current SCI eligibility
