About the Job

You will lead a Network Infrastructure Services  (NI) in support of 614 ACOMS to deliver service management. You will have responsibility and authority for delivery of support services in coordinate with Site Program Manager.

  • NI Services includes all activities associated with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware required for operation of 614 ACOMS supported networks.
  • These networks consist of: routers, switches, hubs, transceivers, encryption equipment (COMSEC), cabling, VoIP phones, and other network devices that support services on local, metropolitan, and wide area networks in support of 614 ACOMS mission requirements.
  • Provide Planning, design, installation, testing, configuration, physical and logical configuration documentation, maintenance, and operation of networks at the Secret and Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information levels.
  • Ensure applicable directive, regulations, instructions, and policies set by the Designated Approval Authority and or controlling authority for the specific network or device are applied.
  • Analyzes local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
  • Installs, configures, and maintain network services, equipment and devices.
  • Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
  • Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
  • Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
  • Supports acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
  • Works under senior direction toward predetermined goals and objectives and exercises moderate latitude, discretion, and independent judgment.
  • Can initiates assignments independently.
Minimum Qualifications


  • Position requires a Top Secret (SCI Eligible) security clearance

Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years overall experience within the customer environment


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.

Certification Requirements:

  • CCNP
  • Security +

Preferred Qualifications       

  • Knowledge of the the 614th Air & Space Communications Squadron (614 ACOMS) Mission Systems Flight in support of Air Forces Strategic SPACE, Commander Joint Functional Component CoITIL Command SPACE, Headquarters 14th Air Force and the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC) is desirable.
