Desktop Publisher/Proposal Coordinator

STG is in search of a Proposal Coordinator/Desktop Publisher responsible for assisting in the delivery of U.S. Government proposals by leveraging best practices to facilitate, coordinate, and produce high-quality winning proposals. The ideal candidate will shepherd the proposal process from start to finish, working effectively with Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, Marketing and Subject Matter Experts. Writers will be required to support proposal efforts, to include technical and management approaches, staffing, past performance, and resumes.

Meticulous attention to detail important. Willing to be flexible around working hours; including some evening and weekend work. Concern for quality and excellent attention to detail. Able to manage a diverse workload and balance numerous priorities. Excellent computer/Internet skills, with exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel.

The position requires:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, or Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science or Engineering, or similar.

Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills using Microsoft Word for desktop publishing, including proper use of Styles and Table of Contents (TOC) creation.

Computer literate in Adobe Suite - including knowledge of InDesign

Ability to complete work within strict deadlines and ensure compliance with all mandated specifications

Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of the project and the documentation requirements.

Willingness to maintain a past submissions library and other artifacts in archives library.

  • Separate and Tag exhibits, graphs, tables, past performance, and other sections of a proposal and upload each to its associated library.
  • Retrieve relevant sections from achieves for consideration for a proposal based on Pink Team recommendations, or can create or modify existing graphic to represent an idea presented.


Knowledge of Government Contracting/Federal market a plus.
