Description

Join STG, Inc. as a Proposal Recruiter specializing in recruiting software developers, systems engineers, and other IT/Intel professionals for Government proposals. You will support the business groups and recruit for proposal requisitions, as well as engage in incumbent talent research. In this position, you will be a critical contributor delivering innovative, cost effective resources. This position is based out of Reston, VA. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all recruiting efforts for proposals within STG business units. 
  • Establish and maintain a strong rapport with Business Development, Proposal/Contracts, Program/Project Management, Management and Talent Acquisition/HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility. 
  • Proactively build talent pipeline and network of potential candidates by identifying, screening, interviewing and assessing candidates for future business development goals.
  • Research trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices for both active and passive candidates. 
  • Collaborate with business development, program/project managers and technical SME’s to develop short and long-term strategic recruitment campaigns that meet proposal requirements.
  • Identify key personnel for the bid and serve as point of contact after proposal submission and until a funding decision has been determined
  • Attend all step reviews, kickoff meetings and daily status calls for all proposal development.
  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position. 
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting. 
  • Extend contingent offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of company compensation policy and delegation of authority.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches through our applicant tracking tool to ensure audit-ready posture at-all-times.
  • The ability to track and report metrics regarding recruiting activity and in compliance with company policy and procedures, federal and state laws.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of experience with technical recruiting for all levels of Government contracts and proposals.  
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent.
  • Firm understanding of DoD clearances and process  
  • Extensive experience with recruiting cleared IT professional.
  • Demonstrated experience in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, legal/compliance, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and candidate due diligence. 
  • Ability to travel for hiring events and job fairs.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches and other recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system. 
  • Experience with Jobvite ATS is a plus.
  • Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills. 
  • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases. Experience with Entelo or Hiring Solved a plus.
