Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases. Conducts performance tuning of indexes and databases in general. Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery, and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. May develop stored procedures and/or triggers. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.


  • Proficient in application of professional concepts in accordance with STG policies and procedures to resolve basic to intermediate database administration issues.

Minimum Qualifications (contract requirements):


  • Position requires a TS/SCI security clearance Required Skills:
  • 3 years overall experience



·         HS Diploma


Certification Requirements:

One (1) or more of the following:

·         Oracle 12C Admin Master

·         Oracle SOA 12c Implementation Specialist

·         Oracle ID Gov Suite 11g IS

·         Oracle AM Suite Plus 11g

·         Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Database Administrator 2008 or more recent equivalent
