STG, Inc. has an immediate opportunity to serve as a Branch Chief in the Computer System Services Division (CSSD) located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ! This position will support the CSS Division Chief and technical teams in the division, which provide cutting edge systems and services to the Army Enterprise.

Job Description:

  • Ensure team leads are meeting deadlines for deliverables.
  • Verify team leads are following and enforcing organizational processes and policies.
  • Track major projects within the division.
    • Inform Customer and Senior Leadership on projects and deliverables when required.
  • Assist team leads with coordination efforts inside and outside the RCC-C.
  • Alert managers/customer of issues and ensure issues are elevated for action in a timely manner.
  • Sync with Government Technical Monitors (GTM’s)/customer regularly to make sure teams are in line with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Attend and run meetings as necessary for fulfilling duty responsibilities.
  • Assist team leads ensuring they utilize personnel and resources appropriately to accomplish mission and customer needs.
  • Set a positive example for staff members to emulate.
  • Mentor team leads for career and technical development.
  • Audit tickets in ITSM to ensure the teams are meeting Service Level Targets (SLT) and annotating their work appropriately.
  • Provide scheduled and ad hoc reports/deliverables:
    • Weekly Activity Reports (WARs)
    • Quarterly Progress Review (QPR) input
    • Project statues/updates
    • Internal Task Orders (ITOs)
    • Package requests for warranty or purchases
    • Other items as required
  • Ensure a good working relationship with customer is maintained.
  • Support and enforce management decision-making and policies.
  • Recommend and take actions regarding recognition and discipline for employees in regard with HR and other issues.
  • Provide assistance resolving complex issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS +7, AA/AS +5 or BA/BS +3 years of related Management or IT experience
  • ITIL foundations required within 6 months of hire

Clearance:

  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim (must be US Citizen)
