Designs, develops, and analyzes software programs for computer-based systems. Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.  Conducts investigations and tests. May provide input for documentation of new or existing programs. May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Applies wide-ranging experience and extensive technical expertise to resolve complex software engineering issues in creative and effective ways. Exercises considerable latitude, discretion, and independent judgment in determining technical objectives of assignments. Develops technical solutions to complex problems requiring consistent use of ingenuity and creativity. Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.

10 years’ experience in following areas:

- IBM Common Business Oriented language (Cobol programming)

- MVS Job Control language (JCL)

- Interactive System Productivity Facility/ Program Development Facility (ISPF/PDF)

- IBM Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)
