Client Systems Technician Senior

Oversees scheduling, workload management installation and troubleshooting of end user HW and software.

  • Associated tasks include planning, designing, engineering, installing, virtualizing, testing, configuring, securing, administrating (device and account), documenting (physical and logical), scanning, patching, backing up, restoring, troubleshooting (to include root analysis), supporting maintenance and operation of client and workstation hardware and software at the Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information levels.

  • Establish teams service levels during duty hours.

  • Adheres to IT service levels ensuring quality control. Assists with equipment custodian services for end user devices that support 614 ACOMS assigned (Government and contractor) personnel in accordance with applicable instructions and policy standards.

  • Schedules and/or provides on-the-job training specific to maintaining client systems for Government personnel during duty hours as specified in work center’s master training plan.

  • Provides recommendations on CST projects in accordance with local 614 ACOMS instructions, policies, and or procedures.

  • Provides integrated team support and maintenance of end user systems and software.

  • Maintains integrity of the desktop and supported device hardware and software. Installs desktops and supporting equipment and software upgrades, refreshes, replacement including planning and scheduling, testing, and coordination.

  • Assists in updating ticketing information and presentation of information to end users and management as needed.

  • Recommendations for hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.

  • Performs desktop security procedures.

  • Evaluates end user issues based in ticket request and determines resolution and fixes end user issues. Provides liaison support between PC/LAN team, vendors, and internal support group as needed. Exercises considerable latitude, discretion, and judgment in determining assignment objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Position requires a Top Secret (SCI Eligible) security clearance

Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years overall experience within the customer environment


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required

Certification Requirements:

  • MCSE - Enterprise Devices and Apps
  • Security
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master degree related field or MBA.
  • ITIL v3 Foundations
  • Knowledge of the the 614th Air & Space Communications Squadron (614 ACOMS) Mission Systems Flight in support of Air Forces Strategic SPACE, Commander Joint Functional Component Command SPACE, Headquarters 14th Air Force and the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC) is desirable.
