The role: Corporate Development Manager
We are looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Hammersmith service office.

OGM is now entering an exciting period of opportunity following the recent changes to regulation in the USA, the cross-vertical prospects that exist between our Sports, Poker and Casino products and the establishment of an acquisitive strategy towards future growth.
You will responsible for the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions undertaken by OGM including buy-side transactions, joint ventures and partnerships including liaison with external advisers, assistance in due diligence, preparation and negotiation of documentation including offer letters and sale contracts. While also providing running with the day to day project management of complex M&A/corporate finance transactions, working with the relevant teams across OGM and interacting with the wider TSG Group, external advisers and counterparties.
You’ll be supporting and running a number of strategic and commercial projects as required including new market entry strategies, major long-term commercial agreements and identifying and curating a pipeline of M&A targets. This role requires you to build from first principles complex financial models for the preparation of business cases, valuing assets and financial impact analysis. As well as, undertaking complex financial analysis including valuation (DCF; comparable companies; comparable transactions etc.), cash flow analysis, credit analysis and other similar analyses.
You will be required to contribute to the development of the OGM long term plans and the identification of strategic priorities. While also be, preparing and delivering internal presentations for senior team members within OGM and the wider Group.
Established in 1999, we are entering an exciting new chapter following the recent acquisition of Sky Bet & Oddschecker by The Stars Group, which in doing so has become the worlds’ largest listed gaming business.
This is an opportunity to join Oddschecker’s growing development team. Our international sites are live in Australia, Italy, Spain and Germany to date and we are underway in our next conquest; to bring Oddschecker to the United States.
Who we are looking for:
You should have previous experience in an Accounting or corporate finance environment in a relevant field (e.g. investment backing, financial advisory, management consultancy, business development, corporate strategy). We are looking for you to be an ambitious and driven self-starter, someone who is happy to get stuck in and able to work with and influence senior members of the Oddschecker Global Media and The Stars Group teams. You’ll be analytical with an ability to think ‘big picture’, whilst understanding when a more detailed/curious mindset and approach is required.
You’ll need to be comfortable structuring deals, owning and handling complex financial models and presenting in a clear and concise manner through various mediums, while being passionate about our business and the opportunities that exist today/tomorrow. This role also requires you to balance a varied workload and make quick decisions on prioritisation.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
A strong understanding and passion for poker and gaming is desirable for this role. Having an MBA in a relevant field is also a plus.
