The role: SEO Analyst
We are looking for an SEO Analyst to join our growing Performance Marketing team, based in our Leeds service office.
Why we need you:
The SEO Analyst is the go-to person for SEO reporting, ranking and site analysis across the Group. The key function will be to track the success of campaigns, track competitor performance and investigate performance issues. You will work with several teams across the company, including BI, web development, content, as well as SEO.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain reporting on SEO performance across rankings, traffic and conversions.
- Supervise competitor activities and monitor the changing SEO landscape to advise strategic directions.
- Analyse campaign performance and track efficiency of onsite and offsite initiatives.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a creative thinker with strong IT skills and an analytical mind, who is interested in performance marketing. You’re an SEO super-fan with superb attention to detail and good Excel and interpersonal skills. You have a sound knowledge of Google’s algorithms and trends in search, as well as SEO tools, particularly SEM rush, Majestic SEO, and Google Search Console.
As part of your role, you will be required to work with people with a wide variety of different skills, including editors, marketers, SEO specialists and developers, so it’s essential to be able to communicate and present at all levels.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Some knowledge of Web Development Techniques relating to SEO, and experience in Keyword Research, Information Architecture and SEO Onsite optimisation.
