In this exciting, newly created role you will primarily to build a book of business in Chicago and the Midwest while leading a handful of high performing Account Executives based in the eastern United States. SpotX is a leading video SSP and you will develop and manage relationships with key decision makers in the digital video ecosystem, both at the advertiser and agency levels. A successful candidate will understand the nuances of desktop and mobile media buying/selling, programmatic and managed services. We’re seeking a player/coach sales candidate who thrives in a startup environment, who has the organizational skills needed to build and manage a large and varied account list, plus had led other sales professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, implement and own a sales pipeline
  • Establish strong relationships with clients through the complete sales cycle
  • Determine client needs and ensure proper contract execution for managed services (I/O) buying as well as programmatic
  • Work proactively with internal teams to convey relevant and appropriate reporting to clients
  • Continuously grow revenue in order to meet or exceed goals, additional incentives in place for new business
  • Mentor and lead team members to greater productivity
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of sales management of 1-2 people
  • 6-10 years of digital ad sales experience with demonstrated track record of success  
  • Experience and knowledge of programmatic buying and video adtech 
  • An experienced sales hunter who can leverage their existing contacts with the regional/national digital agencies and advertisers to build a large book of business 
  • High level of integrity, excellent presentation, organizational & communication skills
  • currently reside in the Chicago area and can work successfully with distributed teams while working from home
