Associate Producer

We are looking for an Associate Producer who has a hands-on approach to understanding and organizing educational content for technical products.  Candidates should be knowledgeable in aspects of video production and the Splunk suite of software.  Qualified individuals are expected to be organized, with excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in managing projects of a technical nature.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage communication within the team and ensure action items progress to completion.
  • Assist Producer to assess all processes and look for areas of improvement in work flow.
  • Ensure project is launched on time and meets initial project requirements.
  • Keep team and management notified of progress and any deviation in project schedule.
  • Manage scope change or project schedule to prioritize team resources in an effective manner.
  • Help with production pipeline items as needed. Including technical script writing and making editorial decisions.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good writing and editing skills.
  • Solid understanding of digital video production and release processes.
  • 1-3 years project management experience with a strong preference for video production and education.
  • 1-2 years detailed task planning and project execution experience.
  • 1+ years of direct experience using Splunk products or 3+ years working with highly technical software and concepts.
  • SCRUM/Agile experience preferred.
