Senior Technical Program Manager
Description
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading technical programs in the Products & Technology organization, with a great understanding of business priorities to drive outcomes
- Breaking down initiatives into coherent work-streams; defining program timelines and ensuring accountability of program goals; operating as the single source of truth in execution of programs
- Proactively anticipating risks, developing mitigation plans, and driving problems to resolution
- Aligning with organizational leadership and key business customers as a program lead
- Understanding system interdependencies and driving technical discussions; communicating solutions and decisions with both engineers and non-technical audiences
- Crafting and maintaining detailed and easy-to-digest program updates, managing dependencies, and tracking status across multiple teams and work-streams
Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability in software program management or closely related roles
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Experience with enterprise software and cloud technologies, along with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience with AI and product experience/UX/design systems are big pluses
- Strong technical proficiency. Understand key technologies and platforms such as Python, Git, AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience with driving large, cross-functional programs that have broad organizational impact. Proven the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent programs and prioritizing tasks based on criticality.
- Communication and risk management are your forte. Phenomenal decision making, consensus building, and problem solving; you don't shy away from challenges!

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
